After the events of Captain America: Civil War, in the movie Black Panther, King T’Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader. While Wakanda is not known for their technology, the publication will happen . Being exposed in the previous movies and returing to Wakanda means a exposure to the country.
T’Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from factions within his own country. When two foes conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must team up with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje, Wakanadan special forces, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.
Erik Killmonger (played by Michael B. Jordan) tries to battle the King to a one on one duel in order to claim the throne. Firstly helping survivors escape and later on trying to fight the King in a raw and epic battle. Not only Erik Killmonger, but several tribes want the throne. The “old” king died in the Captain America movie and the rightful successor finds only struggles to claim the highest position in the technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda.
